Workin' On the Railroad.
Traditionally, a caboose has been the end of a freight or work train. Not quite so with this caboose. This caboose has a unique shape as it will also serve as an idler car for the work crane (due in 2007) that completes the National Toy Train Museum's work train.
Delivery date was August 2006.
Based upon feedback from purchasers of the other cars in the series, the locomotive that will pull the train will be a steam locomotive. As with the rest of the train, Lionel will build a locomotive in "O" gauge and American Flyer by Lionel will provide the "S" gauge locomotive.
There are limits of three cars per purchaser in each gauge for these unique products of Lionel and American Flyer.
Act soon to order these limited edition cars to add to your collection! All proceeds from the sale of these cars will be used to support the National Toy Train Museum.
Production models may differ slightly from picture.
