4. Lionel American Flyer S Grand Canyon Refrigerator Car
Due to the popularity of refrigerator cars, the Santa Fe Grand Canyon refrigerator car is being offered in S scale for the first time! This car shares the same prototypical detailing of the O scale car. |
5. Lionel American Flyer S Hoover Dam Power Co. Depressed Center Flat Car
When the West needed water and power, the Hoover Dam was the answer. New technology AC transformers were required for the long distance distribution of electricity. A.C. Gilbert never produced an S gauge transformer car, but left the number 939 unused. This is the first ever American Flyer transformer car and it is painted in postwar colors. A surprise supplementary load will be available for separate purchase at the convention. |
6. USA Trains G Scale Apache Dynamite Boxcar
Charles Mills founded the Apache Powder Co. in 1920 in Benson, Arizona. Rail cars were used to transport nitroglycerin and the raw materials needed to produce dynamite. The cars that transported nitroglycerin were called “Angel Buggies” because one errant spark dispatched their operators heavenward. This is an early 1930’s wooden style boxcar and comes with accurate double skull and crossed bones graphics, handrails and ladders. |
7. Kid’s Club K-Line by Lionel O-27 Rattlesnake Car
Snakes Alive! Close those operating hatches before he gets out! It’s the largest rattlesnake in the Southwest, FANG. Look inside for the price of 25 cents. Our thanks to Nick Ladd who worked with us to keep the Kids Club offering affordable and FUN! Rattlesnake sound may be a separate sale option. |
